Independence from political parties

The members of the FRFG represent a great variety of political convictions. The demand for sustainability is neither a right-wing nor a left-wing position. The commitment to generational justice is the common ground of the members, regardless of party affiliation. The FRFG has proven that it is non-partisan and committed only to the cause of future generations.

Discussion Culture

A sophisticated culture of discussion has developed and evolved following these firm basic principles:

  1. Criticism must be constructive.
  2. Participants should make a concerted effort to understand the precise arguments of the dialogue partner.
  3. Participants must be prepared to revise one's own opinion if one realizes that the dialogue partner has better arguments.
