ImageProf. Dr. Rolf Kreibich
has been involved in ‚future research’ since the last 1960s, and has become a recognized figure in this field. Having studied Mathematics and Physics, Professor Kreibich moved into Sociology and Economics , and begun looking at the broad future impact of new technological developments. Formerly the President of the free future impact of the free University of Berlin, Professor Kreibich is now the scientific and managing director of the Future Studies and Technology Assessment. He is the member of numerous committees and advisory groups throughout Europe but particularly in Germany. In 1996 he won B.A.U.M – an environmental prize awarded by the German Federal Government.

ImageProf. Dr. Wolfgang Memmert
is a professor emeritus for generic didactics at the University of Koblenz-Landau. After his promotion in 1968 he habilitated in 1975. He composed numerous monographs, essays and anthologies. His most important books are "Grundfragen der Biologie-Didaktik" (1970), "Didaktik in Grafiken und Tabellen" (1977), "Welt verstehen - Welt verändern" (1986), "Die Führung einer Schulklasse" (1987). Professor Memmert ist listed in the German edition and in the international edition of "Who is Who in Science".


ImageProf. Dr. Ortwin Renn
serves as full professor and chair of environmental sociology and technology assessment at Stuttgart University (www.uni-stuttgart.de/soz/tu). He directs the Interdisciplinary Research Unit for Risk Governance and Sustainable Technology Development (ZIRN) at the University of Stuttgart (www.zirn-info.de). and the non-profit company DIALOGIK, a research institute for the investigation of communication and participation processes in environmental policy making (www.dialogik-expert.de). Since 2006 Renn has been elected Deputy Dean of the Economics- and Social Science Department and Acting Director of the Institute of Social Sciences at the University of Stuttgart. He also serves as Adjunct Professor for “Integrated Risk Analysis” at Stavanger University (Norway) and as Contract Professor at the Harbin Institute of Technology and Beijing Normal University.
